Electric Shockwave // [ By positively charging his intended target, Daedalus fires off a negatively charged electrical attack that his guaranteed to hit his target. ]
Steel Mirror Shot // [ Daedalus charges the air around his tail before firing it off in a blinding flash towards his target, potentially blinding them. ]
Electric Thunder Wave // [ Daedalus launches a precise electrical burst that targets and temporarily disables nerve endings, paralyzing the target. ]
Normal Substitute // [ By sacrificing some of his power, Daedalus can take over a mechanical device and control it for a time. ]
. : Personalty : .
::} Inquisitive // [ Nothing excites this cat more than discovering something new. His memory is nearly perfect (up to a point), so anything that he doesn't already know will quickly be targeted for study. He loves to stare and ask questions, and depending on what he is studying, he may even begin to poke, prod, or provoke in an innocent attempt to experiment and gather more data. This trait can sometimes get on other cats' nerves as he pesters them with questions or simply follows them around and stares. He means no harm by this, and typically doesn't even realize that he might be a bother when he does. ]
::} Friendly // [ Daedalus grew up in a rather sheltered environment. There weren't any predators or humans around and everyone in the community was friendly and lived in peace with one another. To this day, Daedalus has kept this mindset and he believes that it's possible to be friends with everyone. He thinks that everyone can live together peacefully and help each other out. He loves to meet new people and make friends, and being turned away only makes him try harder. He will gladly help others out because he thinks it is the right thing to do as a part of a group or community. ]
::} Persistant // [ Once this cat has set his mind to something, it is very hard to change it. He never likes to leave things unfinished, and if he is ever forced to do so, it will bug him for as long as it takes to find something new and more interesting to hold his attention. This can sometimes pose a problem if he has become curious towards a fellow cat or creature, who are not always so patient with his constant questions or presence. ]
::} Protective // [ After the Christmas Catnappings, Daedalus has become rather protective of his friends. He won't take kindly to anyone who looks like they might be trouble to his friends, whether they are being mean, a bully, or actually trying to hurt them. He will always come to the aid of his friends, whether they like it or not, even going so far as to use himself as a shield if it means protecting them. If a confrontation arises, he will try to paralyze his opponent to subdue them before fully joining the battle. ]
::} Serious and Withdrawn // [ Nothing in his life has changed Daedalus more than the War on Cianwood island. With all of the senseless bloodshed, pain, and death, the once Naive and Quirky cat has become more serious and withdrawn. His usually cheery attitude is rarely seen as he takes on a realistic view of the world. He answers most questions with an air of confidence. By this point he tends to avoid going out of his way to meet or talk with other cats, unless they are good friends of his. ]
. : History : .
::} "But, in the end I managed to get away, and I hope that those humans decided to leave the power plant alone. And if they didn't...whhrrr-hurrrr-hurrr...well, let's just say that there was a clan of Electabuzzes at the heart of the plant who didn't take kindly to strangers. Either way, I knew I couldn't really go back to the power plant...so I decided to go out and start to explore the rest of the world. I studied the humans from the shadows...and learned about their technology. I wouldn't stay in any one place for long, and if I was ever spotted, I would quickly move somewhere else. I spent two years, eight months, and twenty seven days exploring like that, and I must say, I never encountered another 'poke-cat'. In fact, it wasn't until the third day of the eighth month of the second year that I met a pokemon that knew about poke-cats, a Xatu named Crest. He was a really cool old bird, and knew all sorts of fun stuff. Not everything he said made sense though, and he liked to talk in riddles. Not that I really minded though. But honestly what does, 'The land has many like you, but beware the clan that caused the earth to cry red' mean? That's one I could never figure out, and he told me that a lot whenever he mentioned this island where all the poke-cats were.
::} "I stayed with Crest for a while, learning as much from him as I could before he finally kicked me out, saying that 'the wheels of fate must turn and now you must go. You are meant to be a part of a greater purpose, and everything must fall perfectly into place.' Nooooot entirely sure what he meant by that though. I mean sure, this is a nice place and all, could use a little fixing up sure, but I don't really see what's supposed to be 'my part'...or even what this 'greater purpose' is. Oh well, either way I managed to scrap together a little make-shift boat and sail my way here.
::} "As I got to the island, the motor on my boat stalled, and I tried to restart it with an electrical charge. Haha, that was a bad idea I'll admit. The gas in the motor ended up igniting and blowing up, leaving me stranded in the ocean clinging to my backpack so that I wouldn't drown. Thankfully an Altaria-cat named Bo happened to be see what had happened and flew out to help me. He got me to shore, where I realized the extent of my injuries and went to the pokemon-center. It was there that I met Chewy, and learned that the center was a little under-staffed. I didn't have much experience, but I was a quick learner, and Chewy took me in as a Nurse.
::} "At first I wasn't too sure if I would like being a nurse...but as time went on I found out that I loved it. I got to help the injured and the sick, helping to put smiles back on their faces in the process. Not only that, but working as a nurse was a great way to study the other poke-cats on the island, something I had always wanted to do. Things seemed to be going perfectly on the island...
::} "At least, until Christmas came. A string of robberies started to pop up around town, and before anyone had time to solve the crimes, several poke-cats were cat-napped! Including my friends Silvia and Alice! A nice poke-cat/bird by the name of Aire rallied up the remaining cats and I joined along as an on-scene nurse, knowing that a fight would break out and that some of the cat-napped pokes would be injured and require my help. We got there around the same time that some of the robbers betrayed the 'mastermind' behind the whole incident, a giant nasty witch of an Abamasnow by the name of Gryla. The turncoats freed the captives, who in turn began to fight Gryla's two kits while the rest of us fought the witch herself. It was during the fighting that I evolved, and boy was I surprised when I realized it. But, I didn't have time to think about it as we kept up the fight until we finally defeated the witch and saved Christmas!
::} "For a while things weren't so bad on the island...life was pretty good. I made some friends...even with one of the cats that had been a part of the Christmas incident, Tref. I should have known the peace would only last so long though...in January Team Rocket set off some fireworks that set sections of the forest ablaze, and I had to treat quite a few burn injuries over the next couple days. I thought that might be the worse thing I would see for a while...but I was wrong.

::} Silvia :: // [ "She's really nice, and didn't get mad when I accidentally made her 'super-fluffy'! I was surprised when I ran into her again at the Trainer's Hut. She was really sad because, get this, someone had gone and stolen all of her cooking stuff! Why would anyone do that? But anyway, I think I did a good job of trying to cheer her up a bit and get her mind off it...she even said she might help teach me to cook!" ]
::} Nikko :: // [ "Oh, Nikko's really interesting! She can fly and turn invisible and go through walls! And she has this cool stash of stuff she's found that she is letting me play with! She's really nice, and I really want to try and help her out. I don't want to see her cry again." ]
::} Alice :: // // [ "I remember her, she collapsed in front of the pokecenter one time while I was alone on shift. I helped her inside and healed her, though when she woke up she didn't seem much for talking at the time... A couple days later I found her buried in a pile of snow, hehe. It was kind of funny, but I don't think she saw it that way. And another time I saw her sticking to the background while there were Christmas Carolers about, but I eventually got her to get closer to see the show after finally making her smile. On Christmas Eve I found out that she had been kidnapped, along with Silvia. Truthfully...I was worried to tears for them...but there was't anything I could do at the time. On Christmas day Aire rallied a bunch of us together and charged the cave where she was being held. I was so relieved when I rescued her...and at the time she told me she wanted to tell me something...then that night she told me that she liked me...I...I'm still new to the whole...'being around others' thing...but...I think I like her too...so I agreed to go out with her...see how things go. Who knows...maybe..."
"Things were going well with Alice for a while....but it wasn't long before she started growing distant....and one day she disappeared entirely. I don't know where she went, or why...and she left without a word, making me think she was dead....I hear some people have seen her around again...but now....now I don't know what to think about her...and there is Chesire to consider now...." ]
::} Trefotur :: // [ "I met Tref during the Christmas Incident, and I was rather surprised when I was called to the ranger's station to heal him while he was in jail. Turns out he had been one of the culprits of the incident, but he really wasn't that bad of a guy. I think he was mostly just tricked into it by his mom...she certainly was a piece of work. Since then he's been trying hard to reform and I'm glad to see that. I even helped him pick up some berries from the forest." ]
::} Bart :: // // [ "I think that meeting Chesire must have been fate...I mean...what are the odds of the two of us running into each other on the beach that one rainy day? We got to talking, a lot....and I offered to help fix hir leg, even after hearing that ze was a member of Team Rocket. I will admit that it made me a bit wary...but I could tell ze has a really big heart...and I guess that is why I started to like hir. Ze left team rocket just hours before I preformed the surgery, and I hid hir away in my room so that no one would find hir. So of course we got to talking a lot more, and learned quite a bit about each other. I was surprised when ze came out and admitted that ze had fallen in love with me...but I realized that I felt the same way. Ze really is a marvelous cat, and I think ze will make a great addition to the nurses." ]

He nodded slowly as he finished up the stitching, not responding until he was done. He gently tugged the thread, finally closing the gash before tying off the stitch. "Well, that could be a problem I guess. Though as a villager I doubt you'd really have to worry about that, right?" He smiled towards her as he picked up another rag and gently began to dab at the stitching and her fur, cleaning off some of the blood.
He tilted his head slightly as she asked about how his metal acted, and whether or not it helped to protect him. "Well...yes, I do feel pain, though I probably have some better protection that most cats would. In fact, because of my fur and body composition, I have a high resistance against most attacks...though I am weak to fire, as well as ground and fighting type attacks."
